GEN02 - EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK

This one-day course has been designed for delegates who are required to assume responsibility for dealing with situations in which a casualty requires first aid.

This course is designed to prepare staff from all disciplines with the skills to deliver and assist designated First Aid

COURSE DURATION:  6 Hours

    • The role and responsibilities of the Appointed Person
    • Principles and practice of Emergency First Aid
    • Basic cardiac life support (infants/children and adults if applicable to course)
    • Choking prevention techniques
    • Caring for unconscious casualties
    • Minor and Major First Aid

    COURSE OUTCOME :

    • All candidates will receive a certificate at the end of the course valid for 3 years.
